Partnerships

The Foyer Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Inc. and a local school Cité de l’Amitié have formed a partnership in 2008. The students from kindergarten to 5th grade participate in many activities with the residents of our Home. The students have created their own logo to describe what this partnership represents. This partnership aims to enrich the intergenerational knowledge.

Since 2008, many activities were developed, such as:

  • Educational Bingo
  • St Valentine dance
  • Mini Olympics
  • Literacy
  • Life History
  • Christmas decoration
  • Health Promotion
  • Paint and Craft

These activities are usually held twice a week. Nevertheless, some projects, such as Life History, required weekly visits during the project.
